These terms govern your use of indextr. By creating an account, you agree to them. If something here doesn't work for you, please don't sign up — and feel free to email us at hello@indextr.ai if you have questions before deciding.
What indextr does
indextr queries AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and others) with search phrases you select, then reports whether those AI engines mention your business. We calculate a proprietary Visibility Score from the results and generate recommendations for improving it.
We don't guarantee any specific outcome. AI engines change their behavior constantly, and visibility depends on many factors outside our control (website content, reviews, backlinks, the AI's training data, etc.).
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must use a real business you own or have authorization to represent. Don't create accounts under false identities or for businesses you have no connection to.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate access to indextr beyond our API.
- Create multiple accounts to evade free plan limits or promotional pricing.
- Resell, republish, or redistribute scan results, scores, or recommendations to third parties as a commercial service.
- Use indextr to monitor a business you don't own or represent without their permission.
- Submit content that's illegal, harmful, or infringing.
- Attempt to extract data from our AI provider integrations or manipulate the services we use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We'll typically give you a chance to fix the issue first unless the violation is serious.
Subscriptions and billing
- Free plan: available at no cost, monthly scans, limited features. No credit card required.
- Paid plans: billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page and in the Stripe checkout before you confirm.
- Trials:where offered, we'll tell you the trial length and when your card will be charged. You can cancel before the trial ends without being charged.
- Cancellation: cancel anytime from the Stripe Customer Portal (linked in Settings). Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- Refunds:we don't auto-refund partial months, but if something went wrong — a scan failed repeatedly, you were charged after cancelling, you signed up by mistake — just email us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
- Price changes: we may change prices for new customers at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before their price changes.
Service availability
indextr is provided on a best-effort basis. We don't offer a formal uptime SLA for the free tier. For paid tiers, we aim for 99% monthly uptime excluding scheduled maintenance and issues caused by third-party providers (Supabase, Vercel, AI APIs) that are outside our control.
Intellectual property
The indextr name, logo, Visibility Score methodology, dashboard design, and software are our intellectual property. Your scan data, recommendations, and competitive benchmarks are yours — you can export, share, or use them however you like (within the acceptable use rules above).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, indextr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Business decisions you make based on scan results or recommendations.
- Losses caused by AI engines changing their behavior or ranking.
- Downtime, data loss, or errors from our infrastructure or third-party providers.
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes — meaning anything that affects your rights, billing, or what you can use indextr for — we'll email you at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
